Several seasonal fruit and vegetable varieties, which our kitchen team use to prepare the gourmet menus, come from our garden or from one of our fields. We grow crunchy green lettuce for the salad buffet, various herbs, carrots, beetroot, potatoes, apples, plums, pears, cherries and apricots. We also diligently harvest strawberries, raspberries and currants every year, which we make into intensively flavoured jams for the breakfast buffet. Stoned fruit is also made into jams, compote and juices. Apples are made into must and produce a wonderfully naturally cloudy apple juice that tastes simply amazing.
